Krishna  - the lord of the universe lends Himself to a lot of artistic interpretations in his various roles.  Below is a very small attempt to understand  Krishna  in an artistic pursuit.............

Acrylic on paper Bangalore bandh on 25-1-2018. No one at home seemed to want to wake up. I got up by force of habit and having found no work to do .. started painting 😀 And lo and behold ! My painting is ready by the time the family wakes up 😀 Moral of the story HAPPINESS is getting up in the morning to paint 😀😀😀

Pen sketch on paper..... Long ago on a lazy summer afternoon, I was browsing through some greeting cards sent by relatives. Among the many wishes, this Mathura painting caught my attention. A beautiful piece of art with a wonderful combination of colours...... I was immediately tempted to draw it and out came my paper and pencil and it was drawn...... It was lying in the cupboard for very many years...and was found one day while trying to clean the cupboard. But I could not throw it..it was my prized drawing..... So I took out my pen and sketched on the blurred pencil lines and lo ! my drawing came to life ! Watch this space for the painted version :-)
